Account & Data Deletion

1. Overview

You can request the deletion of your AdTrigger account and all the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains exactly what gets deleted, what we are required to retain, and the two ways you can submit a deletion request. The policy applies to your AdTrigger account data, your connected Google Ads data, and your connected Meta Ads data.

2. What gets deleted

When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove:

  • Your AdTrigger account identity (Cognito user)
  • Your profile fields (name, email, settings)
  • All connected Google Ads accounts and OAuth refresh tokens
  • All connected Meta Ads accounts and OAuth access tokens
  • All automation rules you have created
  • All custom data sources and their API keys
  • Notification preferences and email logs
  • Your Stripe customer record (subject to legal retention — see below)

3. What we retain

We are legally required to retain billing and invoice records for tax and accounting compliance — typically for seven years, depending on jurisdiction. Anonymized aggregate logs (with no identifiers tying them back to you) may be retained for service-quality and security analysis.

4. Path 1 — Self-service in the app

The fastest way to request deletion:

  1. Sign in at app.adtrigger.io
  2. Open Settings from the side menu
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom
  4. Click Delete my account and follow the prompts

When you confirm, your subscription is canceled at the end of the current billing period, your account is disabled immediately, and your data is permanently removed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email with the exact deletion date.

5. Path 2 — Email request

If you cannot access the app, email us from the address on your account:

  • To: support@adtrigger.io
  • Subject: Delete my account
  • Body: include the email address on your AdTrigger account so we can verify identity

We will action the request within 30 days and send a confirmation email when it's complete.

6. Removing only Meta Ads data

If you only want us to stop accessing your Meta Ads account (without deleting your entire AdTrigger account), open the Accounts page in the app, find your Meta connection, and click Disconnect. This revokes our access token and stops all syncing. To also have us delete the historical Meta data we have already stored (campaign snapshots, etc.), email support@adtrigger.io with the request.

7. Timeline

  • Immediately on request: account is disabled, you are signed out
  • End of current billing period: Stripe subscription auto-cancels (no pro-ration of unused time)
  • Within 30 days: all personal data is permanently deleted

Need to undo? Email us within the 30-day window and we'll restore your account.
